Home Remedies for a Healthy Liver

This attention is well deserved even without a single question. Liver is one of the most important and large organs of the body, which has the responsibility of purifying the blood and removing all toxins from the body. So a healthy liver smoothens the body’s own purification process. Now a modern lifestyle with a stressful life and junk food is seriously affecting the health of the liver.
The main functions of the liver are Detoxification, Digestion, and metabolism, Bile formation etc.

Here are some simple and effective home remedies to detox liver and maintain its good health.

  •           Garlic: - To reduce the accumulation of fat in the liver, garlic is a powerful agent and it contributes in liver cleansing.
  • 1.      Lemon: - Lemon is a powerful thing which helps the liver for detoxification. Add lemon to a cup of warm water and have it in the early morning, which will help the liver to be healthy.
  • 1.      Turmeric: -Turmeric has been widely used for liver disorders because of anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. In our daily diet, we can include turmeric also, it can be mixed with plain milk before we go to bed.
  • 1.      Amla / Gooseberry: -Amla, because of its natural source of vitamin C, It acts as an effective remedy for preventing the liver diseases and fatty build-up of liver. We can eat 2 to 3 raw Amla every day to keep our liver healthy.
  • 1.      Chyavanprash: - Chyavanprash is an Ayurveda herbal Jam which helps to boost the immune system and promotes healthy metabolism. Its major ingredient is Amla, so it will help the liver to be healthy. Consume Chyavanprash everyday morning before breakfast for maintaining the liver cleansed.
